Order of the White Eagle (1882 - 1941)

The order of the White Eagle was established in five classes in 1882 and awarded until the fall of Yugoslavia in 1941.

The first model (1882-1903) During the period of the Obrenovic dynasty, the medallion on the reverse bore the monograms of King Milan I, and on the reverse, the blue bands have the inscription 22 February 1822. During this period the orders were manufactured by Viennese workshops of Roth & Neffe, G.A Scheid, Karl Fleischhacker, and the Bavarian workshop of Jacob Leser.

The second model (1904-1941) After 1904 the year 1882 was placed on the reverse medallion and the same date was omitted from the reverse of the blue band. Between 1904 and 1914 Orders of the White Eagle were manufactured by a Viennese workshop of G.A Scheid from 1914 until 1921 by the French workshop of Arthus-Bertrand and during the inter-war years they were manufactured by the Swiss workshop of Huguenin Freres and the workshop of Fran Sorlini in Varazdin, but only Classes IV and V in the case of latter.
