January 1974: We will mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Franja Kluz, a national hero and the first pilot of the NOB Air Force - with a true story about the collective that bears his name.
Today, a giant and a major exporter, the parachute and clothing industry " Kluz" grew out of a small, messy workshop, formed in 1947 in Indjija town in today modern Serbia. World fashion was not thought of then, it was not the time for that. So the Kluz at the time was manufacturing sewing parachutes, military coats, military blouses for the JNA army.
In 1974 main activity of the factory was the production of clothing and all types of parachutes and parachute rigging. The company employed about 3500 workers. The largest part of the employees - 90% were female.
